Who We Are

Matthew Brickman is an experienced conflict management professional with a goal of providing top-notch paternity and divorce mediation services for a reasonable cost.

How is family mediation different from litigation?

In family mediation, opposed to litigation, we focus on the fact that the parties are on the SAME team and the goal is to create a family plan that will protect each member; Mother, Father and child.

“In business as in life, you don’t get what you deserve,
you get what you negotiate.”  ~ Chester L Karrass

Where do you conduct mediation sessions?

Matthew Brickman provides virtual mediation services all around the world. Matthew is based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida providing mediations not only virtually, but also in person as far north as Ft Pierce down to Jupiter, Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, the Greater Fort Lauderdale and Greater Miami areas, and beyond. Mediations can be held in an office, your home or online. You choose if you come to us or we come to you.

Who provides the documents for my mediation agreement?

Your paternity or divorce packet can be provided upon request. We draft your Settlement Agreement, Parenting Plan and Child Support Guidelines in mediation saving you time and money.

How knowledgeable and experienced are your mediators?

We have only State Supreme Court Certified mediators. Continuing education throughout the year is required for all of our paternity and divorce mediators. We are on the cutting edge with updated laws/documents as we track trendsetting changes in the statutes governing family mediation – such as the same-sex marriage laws. Our family mediators are just like you as they have experienced similar situations.

What makes Matthew different from others?

Matthew is trained in the law and understands the psychological impact associated with the reorganization of the family unit. Matthew, unlike most mediators comes to mediation with his laptop, tablet and printer as well as a draft agreement and parenting plan. Matthew mediates with the parties and drafts the agreements during the mediation session saving the parties valuable time and money. Matthew has lived through many of the same experiences that the parties are living through. if you would like to read about his story click here.

Matthew Brickman is nothing short of a genius.
Matthew Brickman is nothing short of a genius. He actually was able to do something that not alot of people can do, and that is to get me and my ex-wife to agree to terms that is mutually beneficial to our son. I do like to joke, ALOT, but all joking aside, this gentleman, Matthew Brickman, is in my opinion the best mediator in the business, and I have had the pleasure ( or dis-pleasure) of working with a few of them. His fee is more than resonable, and his results are respected by more than one judge. He gets a definite A+ in my book.
