Approach

Our approach to mediation is simple. Keep the costs down. Keep the quality and professionalism up. It is our goal to move the parties through the legal process as quickly, as inexpensively, and as peacefully as possible. The success of a mediation is not at the end when the parties sign on the dotted line. A successful mediation is when the parties have negotiated an agreement that may not be right, wrong, fair or unfair, but one that they can each live with the terms negotiated resulting in no more litigation or modifications except those required (i.e. change in income to redo child support).

We are conflict management professionals with a goal of providing top-notch experienced family mediation for a reasonable cost. We live in an age of rapidly advancing technology. iMediate recognizes the need to keep up with technology by bringing the future of mediation to you today.

Matthew Brickman is a proud member of The Family Law Section of the Florida Bar

Attorney Review
I had the privilege of shadowing a virtual mediation with Matt during the COVID-19 quarantine. His platform is the future. It is secure and offers a real time view of all participants yet allows for the privacy of caucusing. During the mediation all parties can view Matt’s screen and see various equitable distribution, child support or alimony scenarios. Everyone can also see the agreement as it’s being typed, and either side may access the agreement to make edits. There is no need to email various versions of the agreement! It is all kept in one, secure place, and the clients can even sign virtually with their smartphone. Their signatures are timestamped and traced back to their device. The sophistication of Matt’s iMediate virtual platform is like nothing else available for attorneys today. In this new, post-COVID-19 world, we need programs like Matt’s to continue our business wherever we or our clients are physically located. Congratulations Matt on being a pioneer in this field! I look forward to many more mediations with you.
